Why 99.995% Matters
At first glance, 99.9% and 99.995% look nearly identical. Both round to "basically 100 percent." Both are commonly labeled "pharmaceutical grade." And both are sold at prices that suggest they're interchangeable.
They're not. The difference is an order of magnitude in trace contaminants — roughly twenty times fewer impurities at the 99.995% specification. For a carrier compound like DMSO, that specification is non-negotiable. Whatever impurities exist in the liquid are carried into your skin along with it. A tighter purity specification means fewer unknowns, a cleaner scent profile, and a more consistent batch-to-batch product.

About the Source

Customization Notes
Because this is a single-ingredient product, it can be diluted or blended to personal preference. Common practices include:
- Diluting with distilled water for a milder application (60-80% DMSO is typical)
